South Africa has a large variety of ecosystems that host a myriad of wildlife, including the magnificent Big 5 that can be found around South Africa and Kruger is one of the best places in Africa to see. Having gone through a political transition like no other country, South Africa's population is as diverse as its wildlife, and is a thriving tourist destination.
Free Time
Hoedspruit is a fantastic area for extra activities to see and do whilst you are in Africa. These can be done in your spare time, at your own expense, and they include:
- White Water Rafting: Blyde Canyon overnight Blyde Canyon day trip
- River Rafting: Olifants Gorge Olifants Gorge day trip
- Combination: Nyani Cultural Village
- Lion and Cheetah Breeding Project
- Kruger National Park: Excursions (day & overnight)

Getting There
You will need to arrange your flights to Hoedspruit Airport, South Africa.
On arrival you will be met by one of the project representatives and will be transferred by road to The Reptile Park.
