This winter tour to the USA takes you from the coral reefs of the Florida Keys to San Francisco Bay! Take a leisurely pace across the south of America and soak up the sun as you travel.

We begin our journey in the “Sunshine State” of Florida. We leave Miami and head straight for the colourful coral reefs of the Florida Keys. Here you have a chance to relax on the white sandy beaches or to swim and snorkel. After our days relaxing in the Keys we head for Orlando to visit the world renowned Disneyworld. Included is a day at the Magic Kingdom.

From Orlando we head for the Florida Gulf Coast Beaches and the great city of New Orleans. In the jazz city take in the exciting nightlife, great music and the Cajun cuisine! Our next stop is Texas where we visit Big Bend National Park complete with its awe-inspiring canyons and the fantastic city of San Antonio. We journey out of the land of the cowboys into New Mexico and Arizona.

In these southwest states we will explore the Sonora desert near Tucson and the spectacular Grand Canyon. After exploring the wonders that nature has to offer we head directly for the bright lights and glitzy strip of Las Vegas! Take a limo ride, take in a show or try your luck in the casinos!

From the big city we journey back into the wilds by exploring Death Valley National Park. After our park visit we head to the California Coast starting with the charming city of San Diego. Here you have the chance to visit Sea World or simply relax in this southern Californian city. We continue up the coast to Los Angeles home of Hollywood! We spend a few days in this great city before heading up the coast to Santa Barbara and complete our tour in the “city by the bay” San Francisco. This trip gives you a chance to truly see the best of the USA in the winter sun.

Accommodation & Meals
This is a camping tour. Camping or unpaid Hotel (H) when noted. You will contribute to a food kitty of $9 per day. This will provide for 3 meals a day usually. While on the tour you will take turns cooking meals. Eating fresh food that we purchase as we travel to satisfy the international flavour of the group- a healthy way to travel at an unbeatable price.
