Pacific Dream Tour- 28 daysOn this Pacific Coast and national park tour you’ll explore the 3 major Mountain Ranges of the American West- The Sierra Nevada, Cascades, and Rocky Mountains. You will also visit the deserts, cities, forests and canyons that make this area famous.
Visit the Walk of Fame during your tour of Hollywood before heading north on the coast to Santa Barbara, often reputed as California's prettiest little coastal town. We then venture up the jagged coast to Big Sur, where the Redwoods meet the ocean amidst isolated beaches and stunning views.
Our journey then continues east into Yosemite National Park. Here you can hike and swim amongst towering cliffs and Giant Sequoia trees. We continue to the “City by the Bay”, San Francisco. Here you can explore the city sights, nightlife and maybe even take in a baseball game. Then travel north up the coast to the widespread forests of Redwood National Park. Leaving California, enter the Pacific Northwest and the state of Oregon. Here we will visit the majestic Mount St. Helens, the site of one of the 20th centuries largest volcanic eruptions.
Explore the wild beauty of Mount Rainier and Olympic National Parks before arriving in Seattle. There is so much to see in Seattle: Pioneer Square, the waterfront, and the Space Needle. Then journey east to the Snake River, Virginia City and into Yellowstone National Park, famous for hot springs, wildlife and preserved wilderness.
Through the Grand Tetons to Jackson Hole where we will visit the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, join in horseback riding, a rodeo and an included whitewater rafting trip. Twist through the red rock cliffs of Flaming Gorge and discover the incredible rock formations and dirt trails of Arches National Park. Moab, Utah is America’s Mecca for mountain biking enthusiasts, offering the perfect setting and terrain.
Our included tour is guided and supported by locals and can offer the perfect terrain for beginners and experts alike. Then travel into the Navajo Indian Lands of Monument Valley to experience this sacred landscape.
On to the Grand Canyon for a breathtaking view! You can get off the beaten track and explore on foot or for a birds-eye view opt for a flight over the canyon. Hike and swim the canyons of Zion National Park in Southwest Utah before you cruise the Strip of Las Vegas. Gambling, casinos, shows and limos are just part of the nighttime excitement. Then cross the Mojave Desert to arrive back in Los Angeles.

This is a camping tour. Camping or unpaid Hotel (H) when noted. You will contribute to a food kitty of $9 per day. This will provide for 3 meals a day usually. While on the tour you will take turns cooking meals.
