Westerner Two- 14 Days
This tour is a great two-week adventure to see the best of the west. From Holly wood to Las Vegas and San Francisco you will journey through the great National Parks of the Southwest and the best and biggest cities.
We begin with a tour of Hollywood. Stroll down the walk of fame before we travel up into the hills for great view of the Hollywood sign. We journey out of the big city and up the California coast to Big Sur. Here we will camp amongst the enormous redwoods and explore the rugged coastline. We complete the day with a sunset walk on the beach, a perfect photo opportunity.
We continue north with a visit to Carmel or Monterey on the way to San Francisco! This city is known for Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown and the 49ers. You will have a full day to enjoy the best of this city. Take in the shopping, sightseeing or simply take a stroll over the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.
From “the city by the bay” we head into the Sierra Nevada Mountains to Yosemite National Park. We have two days in Yosemite to take in this spectacular valley. Hike to the waterfalls, horseback ride in the meadows, float down the river or hire a bike to explore.
Out of the wilderness and into the big city, next stop Las Vegas! Take in the strip, see a show or try your luck at one of the many casinos! From Las Vegas we journey to the spectacular Grand Canyon National Park. Take a scenic flight by helicopter or airplane or hike the canyon.
From the Grand Canyon we begin our journey back to California. On the way we stop at the current resting place of the Old London Bridge, Lake Havasu Arizona. After stopping we continue to San Diego the home of Sea World and the world renowned San Diego Zoo. Take in the attractions or relax on the beach. Alternatively take in the many outdoor activities including rollerblading, beach volleyball, bicycling, boogie boarding etc!
We finish our journey with a visit to Universal Studios in Los Angeles.

Accommodation & Meals
This is a camping tour. Camping or unpaid Hotel (H) when noted. You will contribute to a food kitty of $9 per day. This will provide for 3 meals a day usually. While on the tour you will take turns cooking meals. Eating fresh food that we purchase as we travel to satisfy the international flavour of the group- a healthy way to travel at an unbeatable price.
