Argentina
Travel Argentina |
 | Travel to Argentina offers all kinds of exciting possibilities for anyone planning a South America gap year. If you travel to Argentina you can enjoy vibrant city life in cosmopolitan Buenos Aires or historic Cordoba as well as some of South America’s most spectacular landscapes. A particular highlight of travelling in Argentina is the unspoilt wilderness of Patagonia in the south – where the stunning scenery ranges from mountains and glaciers inland to superb wildlife viewing on the coast (including whales, penguins and elephant seals). Another ‘must do’ if you travel on a gap year to Argentina is a visit to Iguazu Falls, in the far north of the country – arguably South America’s most impressive waterfall.
A particularly rewarding Argentina travel option is to do some volunteer work whilst you’re out there. If you travel Argentina with Real Gap there are several extremely worthwhile volunteer programmes to choose from and, as with all of our South American programmes, you benefit from receiving comprehensive Spanish tuition.
