Why
learn Spanish in Argentina?
A basic knowledge of Spanish is essential for any person who wishes to travel in South America. This is true for all countries, whether they are developed like Argentina or are less developed like Bolivia. However, if you wish to volunteer on a social placement too, a good comprehension of the language would be required in order to interact with the local people.

Where do you stay in Argentina?
We use host families in order to make these programmes a full cultural experience. Your Spanish will improve fast by living with a local family, as there are so many opportunities to practise what you have learnt. You have a single room but will share family meals and gatherings, traditional dishes, and much more. Our families are varied, for example, your family could be a mother whose children have already left their home, but she enjoys the company of foreign guests.

Why work and travel Argentina?
Argentina is an excellent starting point for volunteer work and travel in South America. While having all of the characteristics of a Latin American country, it also possesses enough modern comforts to avoid a massive culture shock!! Argentina also has some of the best places to travel to, including:

  1. Patagonia
  2. The Iguacu Falls
  3. Bariloche and the Lake District
  4. Buenos Aires and areas like La Boca, La Recoletta and River Plate

Despite being one of the more expensive countries in Latin America, Argentina is still very cheap compared to the UK, which means that your money goes further.

Why volunteer in Argentina?
Argentina has many opportunities to volunteer with people and despite its relative wealth, there are still many poor and underprivileged people whom need volunteer assistance. Volunteering is a well-established concept and previous volunteers have played a vital role at the projects they have taken part in.
