Location
This great package starts in Sydney and finishes in tropical Cairns in Northern Queensland. You will get to see the whole of the fantastic East Coast and visit the most popular places along the way.
Australia
Australia has a much more outdoorsy culture than the UK, revolving around the beach and barbie lifestyle! This jostles alongside suburbia in Oz, which is every bit the Neighbours dream. There is a wonderful indigenous culture – suppressed for a while but now wholeheartedly embraced in Oz – you just have to visit Uluru to see that.
Free time
This programme is jam packed with activities, but it also offer the flexibility you will want to spend time doing your own thing and exploring independently. During your first week in Sydney you second day is free to do as you please, and you will also have time throughout the week to experience Sydney’s nights life and soak up the great atmosphere of this popular city.
This surf adventure embraces the surfer’s way of life wholeheartedly. Expect some fun on-tour parties and jam sessions. Throughout the day you can also expect to see an abundance of Australian native wildlife in their own habitat including kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas and big lizards – dolphins are common surf companions too!
Once you hop on the Oz Experience bus you can pretty much do as you please! There are designated over night stops and you are free to spend as long as you like at each – either jump back on the bus the following day or chill out for a few days or even a few weeks!
Getting There
You will need to arrange flights into Sydney where you will be met and transferred to the hostel. Your programme will end in Cairns once you have finished your Oz Experience.
