The Ultimate Aussie package is designed for first time travellers or for those that need a safety net! You will fly into Sydney and be met by one of our team ‘down under’. From the moment you book your REAL adventure until the moment you leave, you will have expert assistance from our office. For the first 5 nights you will stay in Sydney, meeting other young travellers, attending orientation meetings and having job consultations. We find you jobs – fast. You choose when you start working.
Programme Age Limit Minimum age 18, maximum age 30 (due to working holiday via restrictions).
Programme Inclusions
Orientation A group orientation will be held on the first business day after you arrive into Sydney. It lasts around 3 hours. The session is packed with loads of useful information including info about jobs, tax refunds, traveling around Oz and for some the most important advice – where the best bars and clubs are in Sydney! There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Job Finding Services Upon your arrival, our priority is to find you a job, all you need to do is let our team of job consultants know when you want to work and the rest will be done for you! You will then be safe in the knowledge that you have up to 12 months of job support, a nice feeling considering that over 110,000 people enter Oz on a working holiday each year.
Our job service is far more comprehensive and efficient than many other companies offering job packages. Our job team was set up 6 years ago and they have gained a huge number of contacts with employers who want you to work for them.
We have lots of job in Sydney. However we can also help and advise you on finding work in other parts of Australia.
Use of the Sydney office Only travellers on the Ultimate Aussie programme have 12 months support from our office and staff. This means you can drop in and have a chat with our team and receive all the advice you need.
The office is open 6 days a week and the staff can give you local knowledge regarding jobs, accommodation, what to do, special events, bars, the best beaches to go to at the weekend, transport and anything else that you need to know.
Bank Account An Australian bank account will be opened for you. You will receive all the details and your bankcard within the first days of arrival.
SIM card, $10 credit and phone number A Vodafone SIM card and $10 credit (when you top up the phone) is included. You can either bring your current mobile with you (check with your provider that it is compatible) or you can easily buy a cheap mobile in Oz. Our staff can advise you on your best options.
Mail forwarding and holding service We will set up a mailbox for you before you arrive. The mailroom is located in our Sydney office. The mail service will forward standard letters to any post office at any location within Australia. So no matter where you are, your mail can reach you.
YHA Membership The YHA membership enables our travellers to get discounts on hostel nights, car hire and travel products. With this card you will receive discounts at hundreds of hostels around the world, including 140 in Australia.
24-hour Emergency Assistance There is a 24-hour emergency number that you will have access to so you can call a member of staff if you have a problem. You will be given a number to call in Australia as well as having a 24-hour contact number for our office in the UK. Nice to know you can always contact someone in the unlikely event that you have a problem especially when you are so far from home...
Plus loads of other useful stuff… You will also receive loads of useful stuff during your orientation including a welcome kit, tax file number, free internet, discount voucher book, free travel talks and one months luggage storage.

This is a great way to travel with like-minded travellers. We will give you a list of contact details of Real Gap customers joining your flight.
