The ProgrammeThursday - Monday morning:
You’ll be met at Brisbane Airport and taken to Brisbane Backpackers Resort hostel to catch up on sleep and chill out! You will spend 4 nights at the hostel and have the opportunity to explore Brisbane and take advantage of the many day-trips and excursions available.
Monday:
Monday morning transfer from Brisbane to our training ranch in north west Queensland. Now it's time to get stuck in and experience the real Aussie outback! You will arrive at the ranch in time for lunch. In the afternoon there will be a relaxed start the training – quad biking or perhaps a leisurely horse ride where you could see kangaroos, wallabies and koalas in the wild!
Tuesday to Friday:
The training begins! This will cover horse and cattle work, tractor, motorbike and quad work.
Throughout the training period you will be given details of potential employers, job offers and recieve help in deciding which job is best for you. You are guaranteed a job offer by the last day of the training and on Saturday you will leave the ranch to travel to your job.
Location
You will need to fly into Brisbane to receive your transfer, accommodation, orientation and training. However you are free to travel around Australia as you wish. We can find you ranch work all over Australia.
Accommodation & Meals
Your first 4 nights will be spent in a comfortable hostel in Brisbane. After that the next five nights are spent at the training ranch. After the training programme you have the option to travel around Australia or to start work.
Food and accommodation is almost always included with the job. If it is not you will be paid more to cover these extra costs.
