This is the most amazing project ever. You get to see so much in such a small amount of time, which is better than staying in one place. Everything was so much more amazing than I thought it would be. I even enjoyed the canoeing which I did not think I would enjoy and it ended up being my favourite part of the trip. One tip of advice would be to take more money than Real Gap tells you so you can do everything extra that is offered. Also it allows you to buy more of the amazing carvings and jewelery. And to add to that bring an extra empty bag to carry your stuff home. If there is anyone who is thinking of doing this one but is a little hesitant, dont be. Everyone and thing was absolutely brilliant. |

I became so used to just seeing lions, elephants, zebras and giraffes in my every day activities. I loved working with the animals and also the children when we painted the nursery school and fed the orphans. They are all so happy. Every day was a new experience. Take a journal otherwise you wont be able to remember everything you do! |
