Volunteer Role
This project is located in the beautiful and lively colonial city of Sucre; one of the principal cities in Bolivia. The city and surrounding villages have sizable indigenous populations that maintain their customs and colourful dress, which adds to the charm of this unique and diverse city- a fantastic place to volunteer.
Volunteers are desperately needed to organise recreational activities for the children, such as painting, drawing, dances, music and sports. Volunteers will also assist in basic daily care of the children, including cooking, feeding and cleaning.
Your assistance contributes towards building children’s confidence and skills, from which they will benefit later on in life. You should be flexible to help with other tasks depending on the necessity at the time and willing to take initiative when needed. Volunteers are required to help in the morning or afternoon (or both).
Please note: There are a range of different projects around the city that you can involved with, please advise us if you have a preference in the type of work you would like to get involved with and we will try and accommodate your request. Ultimately, you will be placed where help is needed the most.
