Programme Highlights
- Involvement with ongoing community projects which include teaching, sports and construction

This project was formed in partnership with a community charity that aims to enhance the quality of life for indigenous communities. They strive to empower these communities through assistance with infrastructure and education, by constructing and re furbishing classrooms, repairing and maintaining water sources, creating local produce markets and possible micro –hydro electric generation projects.
The Real Borneo Experience runs 3 programmes for 4, 8 or 12 weeks. The first 4 weeks involves:
- 2 days arrival and orientation
- 15 days of community project work
- 2 days at the beach/snorkelling
- 2 days in transfers, to and from Batu Puteh
- 4 days in Batu Puteh including a visit to the Sepilok Orang-utan Sanctuary
- 3 days rest and recovery in town or shopping
