Multi–democratic, very low in crime and hosting Africa’s wildest regions and migration routes. In an area the size of France, only 1.6 million inhabitants live (mainly in the South–East).
From delta to desert and village to bush, by taking a Botswana gap year, you will experience an ancient Africa and by getting involved as a Botswana volunteer, you will be helping to protect the Okavango Delta, one of the most amazing environments in the world. |

Work on up to four projects, all of which are based in beautiful and rarely visited parts of Botswana. There are elephant, crocodile, hippo and community projects and you may see other wildlife, such as leopards and buffalo. |
