Gap Year Brochure
Travel to Brazil offers so many possibilities if you plan to visit South America on a gap year. If you travel to Brazil you can explore one of the world’s most beautiful cities – Rio de Janeiro. Most people travelling to Brazil arrive in to Rio and there’s so much to see and do there – fantastic beaches, Sugar Loaf Mountain and a match at the Maracana Stadium to name just three.

If you travel on a gap year to Brazil you can also explore the rainforests of the Amazon. Indeed the main reason many people travel Brazil is to explore the Amazon and its unique wildlife.

Another highlight of Brazil travel is the Iguacu Falls. If you are travelling in Brazil you need to make your way right down to the Argentinean to see them, but it is well worth the journey.

If you travel to Brazil you can also get involved with some of Real Gap’s most rewarding volunteer programmes. For example you could volunteer in Brazil and help care for street kids from Rio’s impoverished regions. All of Real Gap Brazil travel programmes include Portuguese tuition, which is an extremely useful skill to learn if you plan to travel to Brazil on your gap year.
