The language school were brilliant with practical classes and then a real source of support and advice while away.

Do a short language course before you go to give you the basics, I did and it helped so much. Otherwise it would be overwhelming at first. Also, don't worry about going alone. Honestly most people are alone and the whole attitude with everyone you meet, locals or travellers is lets make friends! Its great.
