The volunteering was excellent, flexible and genuinely grateful for your help. You were allowed to get stuck in immediately and work independently.
Anthony Foster, March 2007 Worked in the favela with the kids, they really get a lot from our help and love us teaching them.
Hoping to go back and see all the friends I met along the way. Met many Brazilian people and made friends, they took me to see the favelas Rochina as I was very interested in them. Went and had a nice meal high up in the favela and went to many of the baile funks.
