We leave Seattle and head straight for the Canadian Border and British Columbia. On our first night we will camp alongside a pristine lake for our first take of the Canadian outdoors. We rise the next day to continue our journey to Yoho National Park. Our drive takes us along the alpine meadows of Mount Revelstoke National Park. If you are feeling adventurous why not consider a white water rafting trip down the Kicking Horse River! For the less adventurous you can opt to try out the breathtaking trails that make Yoho famous.
Our journey continues to the picturesque town of Banff. Ride the aerial tramway, soak in Sulpur Mountains’ hot springs or enjoy a few days of hiking or biking.
From Banff National Park we head north to the beautiful Lake Louise and its famous chateau. Heading further north we drive along the infamous Icefields Parkway to Jasper. This route is known for its scenery and is often called one of the best drives in the world. Once we have reached Jasper you will have a chance to mountain bike through some of the most spectacular scenery in Canada.
We turn west from Jasper and start our journey south next stopping at Wells Gray Provincial Park. Our campsite is secluded and located on the shores of Clearwater Lake. Take the chance to explore this untouched wilderness on our overnight canoe trip. This is our last chance to explore the quiet and stillness of rural Canada before hitting Vancouver.
Arriving in Vancouver we have time to explore Gastown, a bike ride in Stanley Park and much more. This eclectic city deserves a 2-night stop to take in all the activities at hand. We finish our tour by crossing the American border once more and saying our farewells in Seattle.
