Immerse yourself in the nation's culture and see first hand how Cambodia is moving forward. Working at a shelter set up by local people, you'll be able to help educate children through performing arts, language lessons, as well as teaching maths, art and sports.

Volunteer Work Activities

Volunteers provide children with essential attention, support, care and the vital education they need. You'll be given the special opportunity to act as a role model to the children; encouraging them to develop an enthusiasm for education and helping them develop the vital skills that employers look for.

Volunteer activities include:
  • Arrange lesson plans
  • Teach English lessons
  • Teach drawing and painting
  • Help with health education
  • Take care of children during class
  • Cleaning the class rooms
  • Maintenance
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9:30-11:00 and 2:30-5:00, leaving weekends free to explore the area. Transport to and from the shelter will be by tuktuk, one of the best ways to get around Cambodian cities!

Location
Khan Dang Kor near Phnom Penh International Airport.
