Taiji
Due to its associated health benefits, Tai Ji Quan has become one of the most widely practiced martial arts in the modern world and has developed into a number of varied forms. It is believed to aid stress, calm the mind, enhance relaxation and provide a whole host of other health benefits! If you’re a beginner you start by working on the alignment and movements of your body, mastering control of weight and stepping and connecting mind to body. You will also learn the basics of standing meditation, stance keeping postures and alignment exercises.

Qigong
Qigong is a fascinating combination of physical and mental energy, its literal meaning is a mixture of the phrases for 'air' and 'work applied to discipline'; making it a study of work through breath and life energy. The central focus of Qigong is the practice of learning to control the movement of life force internally, using only the mind to direct energy in the body. The discipline also has many associated therapeutic and health benefits, and is often used for relaxation purposes. Beginner can learn at their own pace and get to grips to a range of basic techniques before moving on to a level that suits them.
