Costa Rica Sports and Teaching

The Costa Rica Sports and Teaching Programme is a fantastic opportunity to volunteer and coach sports on the Pacific Coast of Central America. Teaching Physical Education in the mornings and then coaching sports in the afternoons gives you the chance to make a wider impact within the school and help disadvantaged children in this beautiful part of Costa Rica.

The start dates on the first Monday of every month, please bear in mind the school holidays when deciding on your start date.

Your Typical Itinerary

Your day as a volunteer will look something like the following:

06:00 - Breakfast
07:00 - Lessons start
08:00 - Begin morning classes
11:30 - Break
12:30 - Afternoon lessons
16:30 - Day finishes
18:00 - Evening meal
19:00 - Free time

Please Note: This daily schedule is a guideline and may vary according to the school’s needs at the time. Always try to be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances that may affect your lesson plans. That way your stay will be most enjoyable!
