Ecuador Often referred to as “the land of eternal spring” Ecuador is among our most popular destinations and a fantastic country for the more adventurous traveller. It is the smallest of the Andean nations and one of the most biologically diverse countries in the world.
The breathtaking Andean mountain chain, home to the highest active volcano in the world, separates the exotic pacific beaches to the west and the virtually impenetrable Amazon Jungle to the east. It has a rich cultural history, outstanding natural beauty and warm and friendly inhabitants, making Ecuador one of the best places South America has to offer.
Weather In Ecuador, the seasons are the reverse of those in the northern hemisphere. In May and June, autumn brings warm days and cool nights. Some say the climate is at its best at this time of year in most parts of the country.
July marks the beginning of winter in Ecuador when temperatures vary from 36 degrees Fahrenheit overnight to 70-80 degrees at midday.
Free Time You can spend your free time taking additional Spanish classes, if needed. At the weekends, you may take the opportunity to travel around the country and experience the amazing scenic and cultural diversity that Ecuador has to offer.
Getting There You will need to arrange your international flight into Quito airport where you will be met by a representative and transferred to your accommodation.
