Football Volunteer

If you are thinking about taking a football gap year and are also interested in doing some sports volunteer work, why not be a football volunteer and join one of Real Sport Experience's football volunteer projects.

We offer a number of different sports travel programmes abroad, that are perfect for a sports gap year, career break or sports holiday. Many of these sports programmes allow you to play sport abroad, but namely, football. Football volunteer programmes are by far the most popular and with football being the only true world game, it is understandable why.

We have football volunteer projects to teach football in Africa, Latin America and opportunities to teach football abroad on a number of other general sports volunteer projects. Coach Football Ecuador A fantastic way to combine a love of football with time in Ecuador. You’ll work at children’s football schools, helping with training sessions and competitions, refereeing games and teaching English. You can combine it with Spanish lessons if necessary. Costa Rica Sports and Teaching Help with PE lessons in local schools and organise games of football and other sports. Your skills and enthusiasm will inspire underprivileged children who often have to make do with little or no equipment. Football Volunteer Ghana Use your love of football to inspire and educate children from disadvantaged backgrounds. You’ll work on a street project or a talent academy, organising training sessions and tournaments, refereeing, advising on tactics and teaching new exercises.
