Why volunteer in Venezuela?

Venezuela has some of the best opportunities to volunteer with wildlife in South America with so many different conservation projects, which need volunteer assistance. There are also a number of important social projects, which also benefit from the assistance of international volunteers. Volunteering is a well-established concept and many previous volunteers have played a vital role at the projects they have taken part in.

How much is a flight to Venezuela? 
A typical flight to Caracas costs £400 - £600 in February and £500 - 700 in September.

What are the Visa requirements for Venezuela?
UK Citizens are given a 90 day Tourist Visa on Entry into Venezuela via an international airport. If you plan to arrive in Caracas overland, you will need to obtain a visa before-hand from a Venezuela Consulate.

What will I do in Venezuela?

What is the climate?

Venezuela has a climate that varies with which part of the country you are in. Venezuela has a jungle climate, mountain climate and a coastal climate. The higher ground has a more moderate climate, however, the Orinoco Delta can be very hot and humid at the wrong time of year. The best time to visit Venezuela is December to May, with December and January being the driest months.
