From the moment I landed, Real Gap Australia were there. I didn't have any hassles allowing me to catch up on my jet lag. My second day in Australia saw my bank account open, my Aussie mobile number, and everything I needed to know about a job including the real essentials I never would have thought of! They certainly helped me survive.
Thanks to Real Gap, I got an amazing job just 30 minutes from Sydney. I was in my element. Of course the weather helped. I loved getting up with the sun.
My employer was great. Whether it was shopping trips to Sydney or a visit to Taronga Zoo, I was made to feel so welcome. Even better, the money I earned easily covered the cost of my Gap Year Programme. Real Gap was a worthwhile investment. |
Finishing work, the fun started. Real Gap was there for me. I was able to store my luggage when I couldn't drag it with me (believe me, I had a BIG bag). Of course, if it wasn't for Real Gap, I would have had way more stress when it came to planning my adventures. Travel Guidance was available any time I wanted, and with my Ultimate Aussie card, I got really cool discounts!
I'll never forget my Gap Year to Australia. Whether it was my first sky-dive, or seeing my first koala, my experiences were amazing. I made so many friends and never would have imagined the variety of people I would get to meet.
