This community volunteer programme is based in the vibrant and bustling urban areas of Ghana helping children and local communities currently facing the struggle of living within African city suburbs.
Enlarged version
It is a fantastic opportunity to work within large organisations who really need your help to manage the number of children and local communities that they care for. Also during your placement and included in the cost is the unique opportunity to take part in a one-week tour of Ghana.

You will visit to the old and beautiful Ashanti capital of Kumasi and travel north into Mole National park where you will spot the African wildlife on safari and also live with a rural Ghanaian tribe.

Volunteer Role

During your Ghana volunteer placement, you will gain an invaluable insight by working and living amongst the people of Ghana, thus obtaining a true cultural insight into this wonderful country and its communities. You will have the opportunity to work in urban cities and rural suburbs at the core of this country.

Choose from a wide range of projects including teaching, medical and healthcare, HIV/AIDS awareness, orphanages or non-governmental organisations in Ghana.
