You will have the opportunity to enjoy hiking, bicycling, bird watching and star gazing onsite. In the local area there is a variety of things to see and do. The project is located 9 miles from Six Flags Amusement Park, which is always fun on your day off. You will also be located 3 miles from Santa Clarita, which can easily be reached by bus from the centre.
Santa Clarita is the fourth largest city in Los Angeles County located approximately 1 hour from Los Angeles. There is so much to see and do in this area of Southern California that you may want to rent a car on the weekend and see the sights of Hollywood, Santa Monica, Beverley Hills, and Malibu, or just spend some time on the beach.
Getting There
You will need to arrange your flights to Los Angeles International Airport. Before departure for California you will be given instructions on booking a transfer. You will then be transferred approx. 1 hour north to the project site.
