Programme Location
Gold Coast, Australia

Australia
Located on the Gold Coast of Australia, our Golf Academy provides the perfect environment to develop and excel as a player. The region has a good year-round climate, allowing players to practise and train in more stable weather. More importantly, however, Australia has some of the world’s best amateur courses and coaches, which has allowed them to continually produce many world-class players.

Golf Courses
The Real Golf Academy uses 2 of Queensland’s top golf courses to make sure the students have the best available facilities and a varied playing environment. The 2 courses are detailed below:

Robina Woods

The Robina Woods Course is an 18 Hole, par 71 course set in 65 Hectares of Native Australian Woodland. It is considered to be in the top 25 of all Australian resort courses and is renowned for it’s rolling fairways and excellently manicured greens. The course has many water features, including ponds, creeks and lakes.

Please Note: The Robina Woods course is where you will be based and receive most of your professional instruction.

Colonial Golf Club
The Colonial Golf Club is also used on the Golf Academy Programme. Although similar in character to the Robina Woods course, it offers a different challenge to the academy players, with different features stemming from its unique design. It is a par 72- course, set in 39 Hectares of land. There are plenty of waterways, lakes and towering eucalyptus trees on this 6424-metre course.

Free Time
The Gold Coast is an infamous part of the Eastern Coast of Australia, with lots of activities for you during your free time. As well as being a haven for backpackers and tourists, it is also the perfect place to take part in outdoor activities like swimming, surfing, kite-surfing, due to the stunning beaches and secluded bays. There are lots of shops, restaurants and bars/clubs; plus Brisbane is just an hour by train, so you are never far away from the amenities of a big city.

Getting There
You need to arrange for your flights to arrive at Brisbane International Airport or Coolangatta Airport (Gold Coast Airport). Many international airlines fly direct into Brisbane and Sydney, with a number of domestic airlines connecting to Gold Coast Airport.
