Real Sport Experience's Golf Academy in Australia provides any keen golfer the opportunity for full-time professional instruction during their gap year or career break. Designed for golfers of all abilities, the programme helps each player to maximize their existing golfing ability and to develop new areas of their game. This enables them to lower their handicap and achieve new levels of competitiveness.

Based on the Gold Coast of Australia, you have the perfect environment and climate to dedicate your time to golf. However, when you need a break from the game, you are within touching distance of a number of top tourist spots.

Golf Training Programme
All instruction given at the academy is by Professionally Accredited Instructors. Each Instructor is a member of the Australian PGA and is carefully selected to offer the best available instruction to our academy members.

The programme is a combination of classroom tuition, practical exercises in both real and simulated conditions, and self-paced learning. This enables our professional instructors to teach the theoretical elements of golf and assess your practical application in real-life environments. More importantly, however, it provides the conditions with which you can develop your game at a pace that suits you.

The areas covered will include:

On course management and strategy lessons
Driving range lessons and computer swing analysis
Classroom instruction on golf theory
Instruction on golf rules and etiquette

The emphasis placed on each area will really depend upon your pre-existing skills and experience. Each student will be placed in a class with other people of relative skills and experience.

Golf Courses
The courses used are the Robina Woods Course, an 18 hole, par 71 course set in 65 hectares and the Colonial, a par 72 course, set in 39 hectares.

Accommodation and Meals
All accommodation on this programme is with a local host-family. This allows you to get to know a bit more about Australian culture first-hand and to have a support network of people while you are in Australia.

The host-family will provide breakfast and evening meal each day.
