The project is located Rajasthan, India.
India India is a land of contrasts; with its snow-capped mountains and colourful deserts, lush National Parks and pristine white beaches, it is the perfect destination for a gap year or career break. Blended with this geographical diversity is a country rich in culture and colonial history that makes every corner of this vast sub-continent a fascinating and rewarding place to visit.
However, India is one of the most populated countries in the world, with millions of people living below the poverty line. Volunteer assistance is needed to improve the opportunities available to impoverished people, with education and physical health being 2 key areas where help is required.
This programme is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to both.
Free Time When not working or participating in a workshop or on the camel safari excursion, our volunteers have plenty of time to relax and pursue their own hobbies. Some volunteers borrow a bicycle and tour the local countryside, others read, write, play volleyball or even plan excursions to local points of interest. Most Friday evenings, volunteers arrange a small party or get together to celebrate the end of the workweek.
Getting There Fly to New Delhi airport for your transfer.
