I had the best 4 weeks of my life, I will go away with so many memories and friendships, sharing the experience with others just made it so wonderful.
Trekking through the jungle on a three day hike was pretty tough but I think I surprised myself in what I was capable of! Working in our volunteer placements was wonderful for me, being able to teach the children songs while they copy the actions was a lot of fun! |

Everything about it was absolutely amazing especially the people, they are the most warm and affectionate people you may meet, especially the children at the school, they would give you so much respect, and were so obedient and willing to learn.
It's just a great feeling knowing you're making a positive difference in their lives, and pointing them to the right direction to better their own lives. |

The trekking was absolutely brilliant. We camped out two nights, saw a tribal village, lots of wonderful scenery and even went abseiling. When we got to Goa, I really enjoyed working at the day care centre as the children were wonderful, so affectionate and keen to learn all the games and songs tasks we taught them.
There was also plenty of time to relax so this project was a very good combination of volunteering in a relaxed, holiday setting. |

I had a wonderful experience; India is an amazing country to visit. I enjoyed everything from trekking through the jungle through to the volunteering part of the programme.I also made some great new friends. Would totally recommend it.
The food was good, especially on the trek when it was cooked by the families in the traditional villages. However after a couple of weeks of curry for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it was great to get to Colva and be able to eat a fruit salad from one of the beach cafes. Heaven! And the Chai is lovely. |

Choosing the Goa experience is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I enjoyed every minute of the trekking, yoga and volunteer project work during my 8-week stay.
With Real Gap I have been able to see the real India and have met the most amazing people. It's given me a taste for travelling and a love for India, I plan to go back next year! |
