Gap Year Brochure

The world's only Jewish state. Considering it's size, Israel is a geographically diverse country.

Bordering Egypt to it's South West, Jordan to its East and Syria and Lebanon to it's North East. Israel's East enjoys the benefits of the Mediterranean Sea.

Since prehistoric periods, the land of Israel has been a focal point for historic events that have influenced all of mankind. The three monotheistic religions were born and developed in ‘The Holy Land' and many other nations have risen and fallen there over the course of history.

Real Gap's Israel Highlights

Jerusalem
In Jerusalem, the old city is awash with religious sites. Gaze over the top of the golden-topped Dome of the Rock, watch worshippers demonstrate their loyalty at the Jewish Wailing Wall or take a moving trip in time at the holocaust museum. Haggle in an Arab souk, soak up the Mediterranean sun or head to Jaffa, one of oldest ports in the world.

Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv is Israels economic hub and cultural capital. Located on Israels Mediterranean Coast, the city is often likened to Barcelona with it's nightlife and 24hr culture. Surprisingly, Tel Aviv has the 3rd highest concentration of Sushi restaurants in the world, boasting over 100!
