J1 USA Career Training Visa

This programme is for professionals aged 18-38 who wish to work and travel the USA. Unlike our work and travel Australia or New Zealand programmes, the work and travel USA packages do not have a choice of jobs abroad. Instead, the programme focuses on helping you get a working visa for the USA so you can be employed in your area of specialty.
You should consider this working America programme if you are interested in working abroad to advance your CV and career. To qualify for the J1 Visa you need to have either:
- University degree and 1 year of professional work experience in your field, or
- No degree and 5 years of professional work experience in your field
After you have acquired your American job offer we can begin to process your visa.
The training programme provides exchange visitors the opportunity to enhance their skills in their chosen career field through participation in a structured training program and to improve their knowledge of American techniques, methodologies, or expertise within their field of endeavor. Such training shall not duplicate a trainee participant's prior training and experience.
Use of the Exchange Visitor Programme for ordinary employment or work purposes is strictly prohibited.
Sponsors may not place trainee participants in positions which are filled or would be filled by full-time or part-time employees.
