Name: Jon Greenland
Gap Year Project: Trans-Siberia

Hey,

I am alive and well in Ulaan Baatar.

Mongolia is the most amazing country ever. It's really beautiful, everyone is happy.

So far we have:

  • Lived with nomads in traditional ger tents
  • Rode camels over the sand dunes
  • Visited monasteries and seen 27 meter tall Buddha statues
  • Been on a Genghis Khan Pub Crawl!
  • Drank fermented mares milk

…and much more besides!

I'll tell you about it some day, but it's 2.30 in the morning local time, my train leaves again at 8am and I need to find my way back to the hotel…

Jon
