Volunteer Name: Katie Fusco
Volunteer Project: Zambia Teaching + 21 Day Tour from Vic Falls to Cape Town

Been back in UK for couple of weeks now and I'm still heart broken about leaving Africa! I cant thank you enough for all your help with my trip; I can honestly say it's been the most amazing experience of my life (so far!).

The project was very tough at times, and it really has given me a whole new perspective on life (get me - being all philosophical!).

There were times when I just wanted to burst into tears, seeing the deprivation and suffering, it just seemed so unfair. But equally I spent so much of my time smiling and laughing, some of the children were amazing, so resilient, and there were 2 or 3 that I was so tempted to steal!

I have now officially seen a woman give birth and never want to go through that pain! No grandchildren for my parents!

Also my 3 weeks on the truck (from Vic falls to Cape Town) were absolutely awesome! I fell in love with the animals...stunning. I saw so many beautiful places and met some hilarious people.

So I'm back at home, already planning another trip: you have officially given me the travel bug! Again, thank you so much for all your help, I've learned more than I could ever have expected in these 3 months, it's been a crazy, crazy adventure,

Thanks
Katie x
