Kenya

Kenya is a popular tourist destination with its famous national parks and coastal resorts. You will see breathtaking landscapes, visit nomadic rural cultures that are hundreds of years old and of course, witness the amazing wildlife.

Along the way you may learn new things about yourself because this is the sort of place that inspires reflection. You will even meet the amazingly proud and inspiring Maasai people, who live without modern amenities in the same way their nomadic ancestors once did: Kenya is alive with variety to suit any traveller.

Free Time
The base camp is located just 4km from the stunning Kenyan beaches. The range of activities is vast, with jet-ski safaris, fishing, kite surfing, snorkelling, beach volleyball and barbeques. The social side of the experience is legendary - you can expect to work hard and play hard! All activities of this nature will be arranged for you in country at your own cost.

This programme offers you many extra activities too, during or after your time at the project – Please speak to the Africa team for further information:

  • Mount Kilimanjaro £950
  • Mount Kenya  £420
  • PADI Open Water Course £280
  • PADI Advanced Course £260
  • Kite Surfing 2 or 4 days £105 and £185

Travel After Your Project
Nairobi is a major transport hub for overland tours as the gateway to Eastern and Southern Africa. We have a number of exciting overland tours for you to choose from, which could take you down into Tanzania, the mighty Victoria Falls or even travel the whole distance into Cape Town or Johannesburg in South Africa, via Botswana or Namibia.

We have tours that last from 3 days to 56. Please contact the Africa team for further information.

Getting There
You will need to arrange your flights to arrive at Mombasa Airport, via Nairobi in Kenya.  Here you will be met by our project representatives and taken to your accommodation.
