The programme includes an exclusive Primate Conservation course, work at an Elephant Sanctuary and also experiencing a big game safari.  This project allows you to make a valuable contribution to African Conservation.

Volunteer Role

Did you know that 25% of all of Africa’s Game is located in Kenya? The wildlife in Kenya is something else, from giant fluffy caterpillars, monkeys and bush babies all living around the camp, to the big five that roam free in the nearby National Parks that you may visit. Just some of your programme highlights include:
  • A primate conservation course - working on the preservation and protection of primates e.g the rare Angolan Colobus monkey and its coastal forest habitat situated in southern Kenya. The trust specialises in community development and education, animal welfare, biological/ecological research, forest protection and eco-tourism awareness.
  • Working on a wildlife conservation project - which include primate and elephant research, during the programme volunteers visit the loctaion with the densest population of elephants per square kilometre anywhere in the world!
  • Join a working Elephant Sanctuary
  • A 3-day big game safari in National Parks - here you can look out for big game, Big Five are regularly seen.
  • Scuba dive or mountain trek if you choose
