The programme is just outside South Africa’s famous Kruger National Park.

South Africa
South Africa has a large variety of ecosystems that host a myriad of wildlife, from marine wildlife to the smallest floral kingdom in the world and of course not forgetting the magnificent Big 5 that can be found around South Africa.  Having gone through a political transition like no other country, South Africa 's population is as diverse as its wildlife, and is a thriving tourist destination.

Free Time
During your free time on the project there will be plenty of optional excursions for you to take part in. These include:

  • Chimpanzee Sanctuary tours
  • Quad bike tours
  • River rafting
  • Open vehicle safaris
  • Helicopter and micro light flights
  • Horseback trails
  • Endangered species tours
  • Mammal rehab tours
  • Mountain biking

These excursions can be arranged with your project coordinator at your own additional cost.  If you do not wish to take part in any excursions you are more than welcome to relax around the camp.

Getting There
You will need to fly into Nelspruit Airport, via Johannesburg. There are a number of flights into Nelspruit each day – please ensure you travel on the flight which arrives at 12.00pm or 18.00pm. From here you will be met by our Africa representative and transferred 30 minutes to your project.  You will need to fly home from Nelspruit, via Johannesburg at the end of your project.
