Daily Itineraries Your theoretical training will be covered in the first 3 days, whilst the remainder of the month will be spent at a rural community school with the pupils.
A typical day during your 3-day training period will be structured as follows:
- An early morning activity such as a bush walk or game drive
- Breakfast
- Classroom learning session
- Take a short break
- Continue with classroom learning session
- Have a break for lunch
- Classroom activity
- Short break
- Rest period / evening activity such as a game drive
- Evening meal
- Free time
Please note: that this itinerary is intended as a guideline only and may vary. For the remainder of the month you will be working a 5 and ½ day week, with Saturday afternoons and Sundays as your free time.
During this period your daily schedule will be as follows:
- An Early morning activity such as a Game drive or walk
- Breakfast
- Visit to a local school and feed the children (feeding children - Rural Community School Feeding and Sports Education Project and Roots & Shoots Projects only)
- Practical sport training (Rural Community School Feeding and Sports Education Project and Roots & Shoots Projects only) or Practical START application period
- Lunch break
- Afternoon sport activity (Rural Community School Feeding and Sports Education Project and Roots & Shoots Projects only) or a community activity
- Rest period / evening activity
- Evening meal
- Free time
During your free time on Saturday afternoons and Sundays there are a variety of optional excursions that you can take part in (available at an extra cost).
