Kruger to Coast Sports Adventure

This tour takes you on a journey through Southern Africa’s best bits - encompassing the culture, the wildlife and the ocean. As you travel through South Africa, Swaziland and Mozambique you will experience game drives, volunteer work and a Scuba Diving Course. The huge variety of activities will leave you with a million fantastic memories for you and your newly made friends to share.

Kruger to Coast Sports Adventure

Programme Orientation

At the start of your tour you will have an arrival orientation, which will provide you with further information about what to expect for the duration of your programme. This is also a great opportunity for you to raise any questions that you may have and find out more about the tour and the volunteer projects that you will be taking part in.

Accommodation and Meals

While in Kruger National Park you will be camping in dome safari tents (camping equipment will be provided). Accommodation while in Ezulwini, Swaziland will be in a backpacker lodge in a dorm room. While in Tofo, Mozambique, you will stay in a backpacker lodge, right on the beach where you will be sharing with up to 5 people. With each type of accommodation, a mattress, sheet, pillow and pillowcase will be provided but you will need to bring your own sleeping bag.

All meals will be provided throughout the tour and participants will share the cooking duties on a relaxed rotational basis. Cooking facilities will be communal and quite basic and food will be purchased during a weekly food shop. Generally breakfast will consist of cereals and toast, for lunch you will have sandwiches and salad and for dinner you will have a cooked meal. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements and your tour guide will cater for you as best as possible.

Please note: The tour will only go ahead with a minimum of 4 participants.

Free Time

During most of the weekends, you will have free time to travel and explore. Optional activities will be available to you including horse riding, mountain biking and walking, cultural quad biking, white water rafting, paragliding, taking part in cultural festivities, visiting craft markets or just relaxing in the sun. Please remember that any additional activities will be at your own expense. Accommodation and meals at the weekends are included in the tour price, but if you choose to use alternative accommodation or eat out, you will be responsible for covering the cost.

Support

Throughout your tour you will have the support and guidance of your tour guide. You will be provided with competent assistance and help with any questions or advice you may need during your tour. In addition you will have access to a 24 hour emergency contact number so you can contact one of our UK staff at any time should you need to.
