Making a Difference in Buenos Aires
Project Location La Boca neighbourhood of Buenos Aires.
Argentina Comfortably South America’s most cosmopolitan country, Argentina also boasts a stunning natural beauty and is home to some of the tallest mountains, expansive deserts and highest waterfalls imaginable. It is also a hugely diverse country, from the halcyon landscapes of Patagonia to the bustling metropolis of the capital Buenos Aires. The fascinating mix of European influences, cultural heritage and air of sophistication make Argentina a great country to visit.
Free Time Volunteering takes place between Monday and Friday, with an average of 4 hours work a day. Times are flexible and depend on which area of the project you choose to work in. Extra activities often take place on Saturday and volunteers are more than welcome to help out on these days.
Evenings and weekends are yours to spend as you wish. Buenos Aires is a vibrant city with a host of sights and activities to occupy your free time. The city is bursting with museums, restaurants, bars and clubs while no trip to Buenos Aires is complete without taking in a tango show and experiencing the passion of a Boca Juniors game at the famous La Bombonera stadium.
Getting There You will need to arrange your flights to the Ezeiza International airport of Buenos Aires. Here you will be transferred to your accommodation.
