Day 1
You arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport where you will be met by a team member, who will transfer you to a hostel in Kuala Lumpur for an overnight stay. You will be given dinner and receive an orientation session.

Day 2
You will take an early morning transfer to Subang Airport and from there fly to Tioman Island. Once you have arrived and settled in at the project site, you will receive an orientation for the local area and project.

Day 3-27
The Dive, Turtle and Reef Conservation project will begin on your third day.

On the project you will be doing the following:

  • Your Advanced or Open water PADI diving course (according to your diving capabilities - four dives)
  • Have the opportunity for unlimited quantities of snorkelling
  • Take part in seven nights of Turtle Watch Experience - where you will work for an officially sponsored turtle hatchery
  • Reef Check (where you will carry out surveying coral reef and data inputting)
  • Embark on ten scheduled dives for the Reef Check project
  • Collection of Data on corals (collecting and inputting of data)
