Itinerary


Week 1: PADI Open Water Scuba Course


Day 1: Arrive in Vilanculos, Mozambique introduction and orientation
Day 2: Confined Water 1 & 2
Day 3: Confined Water 3 & 4
Day 4: Confined Water 5, Examination
Day 5: Open Water 1 & 2 (2 mile reef - Bazaruto Archipelago)
Day 6: Open Water 3 & 4 (2 mile reef - Bazaruto Archipelago)
Day 7: De-brief, certificate presentation, relax and prepare for the next leg 

Week 2: River Canoe Expedition

Day 8: Introduction & Orientation, prepare for river and Dhow expedition
Day 9: Pack supplies; deploy, River expedition begins
Day 10: River, Sleep on Island
Day 11: River, cultural day - village interaction & traditional meal, sleep on Island
Day 12: River, paddle into rivers mouth Sleep in Campsite, rest, shower & clean up
Day 13: Rest Day

Week 3: Dhow Boat Expedition

Day 14: Pack, orientation & Intro to the Crew and Local Guides - sail for Bazaruto Island
Day 15: Santa Carolina, Paradise Island, guided by local island guides
Day 16: Zenguelemo Point, Soccer Match against the local Island team
Day 17: Southern Tip Bazaruto
Day 18: 2 mile reef, North Point Benguerra
Day 19: South Point Benguerra
Day 20: Marguruque Island, Back to base

Week 4: Football Coaching Community Week

Day 21: Introduction & Orientation, briefing & Language
Day 22: Coaching, playing and interacting with the local children
Day 23: Coaching, playing and interacting with the local children
Day 24: Coaching, playing and interacting with the local children
Day 25: Coaching and tournament preparation
Day 26: Local community tournament, prize giving & awards ceremony
Day 27: Bid your farewells, pack and drop off at the Airport
