Rotorua
Rotorua is a smallish city, the surrounding areas are a geothermal wonderland, with geysers, boiling mud pools, and steaming craters. Rotorua has a strong Maori culture, a centre of tourism, it's a place of extraordinary natural beauty. New Zealand is a well-known sporting nation, particularly for it's participation in Rugby, a game which it has taken to new levels. The Rugby Academy New Zealand programme, located in Rotorua is one of the best in the world with unrivalled facilities and some top coaches.

Auckland
Is an environment where everyone lives within half an hour of amazingly beautiful beaches, hiking trails and a several magical holiday islands including Waiheke and Great Barrier Islands. Auckland is the a great place to start exploring the North Island, why not take part in a couple of weeks volunteering on the Kiwi Conservation project before you extend your adventure.

Christchurch
Is arguably the most attractive city in New Zealand, it has extensive inner city public gardens and parks, the shallow Avon river meandering though the city centre, centred around a pedestrian area called Cathedral Square. You could spend a few days in christchurch and then take part in one of our hiking tours, for example the New Zealand Hiking Tour - Eastern Epic which begins and ends in Christchurch.
