One-Month Field Guide Course South Africa
You will receive informative yet fun theoretical and practical training from experienced ex-rangers and field guides who are eager to share their knowledge with you. If you would like to become a nature guide or field guide in an African reserve or National Park you can also opt (at an extra cost) to become a member of FGASA and THETA and take weekly written tests to qualify.
The Field Guide Course
This is an exciting Field Guide Course in the wilderness, learning about the beautiful surroundings that you will be living in!
Training is at a high level as the course is run by experienced and highly qualified ex rangers and field guides who are all registered with and qualified by FGASA and THETA. Spending time with the rangers and field guides will provide you with the perfect opportunity for you to ask any questions you have and benefit from their in depth knowledge.

Customer care | Please Note If you wish to become qualified under the FGASA programme you can do so at an additional cost of £175. This will include membership with FGASA and you will be required to undertake theoretical and practical assessments.
LocationKruger National Park and surrounding areas, South Africa.
Accommodation and MealsAccommodation during the programme will be at a camp inside the Kruger National Park. There are 25 dome tents and two participants will share each tent. You will be provided with three meals a day.
