Online TEFL Course Information
All three online TEFL courses consist of 10 modules covering areas such as student motivation, English grammar and vocabulary, the main four skill areas; reading, writing, speaking and listening, classroom management, games and lesson planning and job application. Independent study
The online TEFL courses are perfectly designed for those who prefer completing tasks independently and for those who understand information better by reading through data. You will have up to 6 months to complete your chosen course, though many students tend to finish it within two months. Should you need to, it is possible to pay a small admin fee to extend the time you have to complete your course.
Original teaching style
Learning about managing and motivating pupils will give you the confidence to get up and teach your first lesson. After a few lessons you will be teaching in your own style and the skills gained will provide you with an excellent base for your rewarding teaching career.
Interactive schooling
It is universal that a good teacher can make the driest subject enjoyable; TEFL courses look at how you can combine the use of games and activities to maintain pupils’ interest and develop their understanding of education.
Non-practical work
The online course does not involve any practical teaching experience, however Module 6 does include an online video download of a teacher in action. This is an ideal opportunity for you to watch and analyse their teaching techniques in a classroom environment.
