Where can I work in America?
On the self-arranged programme, you can find work anywhere in the USA as long as it is casual work. Job offers on the full service programme that are provided by us can be located anywhere in the USA.
What kind of jobs in America will you find me?
Generally the summer work in America is in hospitality, kitchens, housekeeping, call centres, maintenance and in amusement parks and outside sales.
How much can I expect to earn?
You will earn enough to cover all of your living expenses. The average wage for this programme is between $6-9 per hour.
Will I receive help with finding somewhere to live?
Yes you will either get accommodation with the job offer or the employer will help you find somewhere cheap, safe and close to your job.
Can you work and travel in America?
Usually you will work until the beginning of September and then are free to travel anywhere you wish in America or Canada. You have 30 days to travel after your job ends. You can simply do your own thing on a Greyhound bus, rent-a-car, flight or organized tour. See the Grand Canyon, chill in Florida or LA, or drive coast to coast…its up to you. I would like to find my own job. Are there any restrictions?
You can’t work with children or in health care. Your job offer has to be a minimum duration of 2 months and a maximum of 3 three months. You then have up to a month to travel around after this period.
If you find me a job, how long would it last for?
For 3 months and then you have 1 month to travel afterwards
How long does the America working visa take to process?
As long as you have your complete visa application submitted by March 15th you will have your visa in time for your summer job. Please note: We accept applications as early as September for the following summer jobs. The earlier you apply the better jobs available.
