Gap Year Project: USA Summer Student Programme
I am just back to Scotland after spending the summer in Connecticut, which was great. I just wanted to thank you for all the work you put into my application and such, all seemed to run smoothly!

Every day was great! Visits to NYC were definitely some of the best times that I had. Meeting so many great people, having great weather and so many new things to do just made the whole experience amazing!
Connecticut was so nice. The area I was staying in was just an hour's train ride from New York City making it an ideal location.
I chose the self-arranged option and worked a summer internship at an oil and gas industry research firm. Although it was hard work the people were really nice and very welcoming.
I would definitely recommend this programme to everyone! Working in the USA for the summer has been the best experience of my life. |
Real Gap was so helpful, and in my case Alicia was great. Whenever I had a question about the programme, big or small, I could e-mail Alicia and she would respond quickly and always with an answer.
I enjoyed it so much that I am already looking into doing another Real Gap programme.
