Cusco The beautiful city of Cusco sits perched amidst the clouds and the lush greenery of the Andes 11,000 feet above sea level, an everlasting legacy to Peru’s rich history.
Many international tourists are drawn to Cusco for its proximity to the famous Machu Picchu ruins & Inca Trail and its many Incan ruins and colonial architecture. Due to its high elevation, the weather is cool at night and sunny but cool during the day all year round. This, however, is the perfect excuse to explore the many street markets selling the beautiful wool sweaters and textiles for which the country is famous!
Surrounded by the wealth of its Incan history and offering the comforts of an internationally renowned city, Cusco truly is an exciting place to live, enjoy and learn Spanish.
Free Time Organised trips or activities are offered and included in the cost 2- 3 times/week. These include a city tour, cooking class, dance class, parties, videos, lectures, trips to museums and other such activities. For the more intrepid traveller, activities such as horse riding in the Andes can be arranged at an extra cost.
Getting There You will need to arrange your flights to the International airport of Cusco. You will be met and transferred to your accommodation where you will be made to feel at home right away by your host family.
