Gap Year Programme: Thai Experience

Alreet all!
Sorry I've only just got round to sending this but I really have been busy. Hope y'all are ok and that everyone is happy.

Reet, I'll give a run down of what I've been doing, arrived in Bangkok which was mental, really hectic, but mint.

In the first week we were just getting used to life out here seeing temples etc. Last week we were trekking in the jungle, the trekking was defo the best thing I've done, it was mint, and I loved it walking for like six hours.

Made loads of friends with the rangers, I even learned bit of Thai!

We had bucket showers of freezing water when we were in the mountains, which was hardcore but you get used to it.

At the end of the trekking we had a night in a luxurious hotel, which was lush after the jungle.

Before that we stayed in a Thai house, which was situated next to a massive lake where the mountains rolled down to it. It had a bamboo hut on a pier that had hammocks in. We were so relaxed in that lush setting and just took out a little wooden Thai boat, when we were hot we jumped off for a swim. Oh, it also had a little tiny place that served cold beer for like nought! Life is good!

Anyway, we have just got back from Bangkok and I am knackered and we have to be up at 5.30 in the morning to go to the temple to show some love to the monks.

Got my exam results and I got into Bristol with me BCD which I have to say am pretty impressed with!

Ok well that's me done for the mo, I'll send another one soon.

Love to all, enjoy yourselves
Love,
Robin

PS. love the king everyone does here!
