Russia Experience - Trans-Siberian Railway
The Trans Siberian Railway adventure is a great way for you to explore the fantastic countries of Russia, Mongolia and China. The longest train journey in the world, this is a stunning visual adventure taking you along 7885km of railway track, and across three very different countries.
There is no single train known as the “Trans Siberian Express”, but rather a Trans-Siberian Railway track. There are multiple trains running along these routes – some travelling only part of the way, and some the entire length of the track. By combining them, it is possible for us to construct routes that will enable you to stop and see the best places along the way!
With such a vibrant life going on in the trains the Trans Siberian Railway could be considered a destination in themselves! There are scheduled services that allow you to see the passing parade of local life. You will get a real taste of the delights of backpacking throughout this trip, and will be met at each stop by local guides who will proudly show you around their city. This way you will not only experience the city through the eyes of a tourist, but will be able to venture deeper into its heart.
Our Trans-Siberian Railway experience is not a group adventure trip, but rather a means of supplying you with a system of support in each city that you visit.
You will be able to travel independently rather than under the supervision of a group leader.
Project Age Limit Minimum 17 years, maximum age dependent on participants health.
Activities On arrival into Moscow, Irkutsk and Ulaanbaatar, you will be met and transferred to your hotel, host family, or Ger camp.
Depending on the time of the year there are a variety of activity options available to you. At Lake Baikal, relatively easy treks and freshwater scuba dives are on offer, or you may choose a more remote stay in Bolshoe or Goloustnoye, where you will experience the real Siberia!
